S. Thomas’ Preparatory School put in a strong overall performance against Central College, Homagama and commenced their SLSCA Under 15 Division II Tournament with an outright win.
A complete team effort with some outstanding individual performances had Central College outplayed in every department.
An outstanding bowling performance Jalina Rajapakshe with a match bag of 9 wickets (1st innings: 10/4 - 2nd innings 8/5) set the foundation for the victory.
Videv Perera made quick work of reaching a well deserved half-century (58 off 32 balls) which included 1 massive six and 9 boundaries.

The 45th Annual General Meeting of the S. Thomas’ Preparatory School Old Boys’ Union was successfully held on the 23rd of May at the School Hall, bringing together Prepites in a spirit of unity, fellowship, and commitment to the continued growth of the Prep community.
The proceedings commenced with an Opening Prayer by the Chaplain, Rev. Lakshman Daniel, an alumnus of Prep School.
The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of a cheque for Rs. 10 Million to the Headmaster from the proceeds of the Prep Carnival to fund the purchase of a Mitsubishi FUSO 33 seater bus for the School.
Senior member of the ExCo, Senaka Ratnayake, was felicitate for his steadfast support and commitment to the OBU.
The election of the new Executive Committee took place without a contest.
It was a day to reflect on the past and look forward to another year of service, progress and unwavering dedication to Prep.
